Guarantee Policy
Please contact Flint Golf Club seven (7) days prior to the event with the exact number of guests attending your function. This number will be considered the guarantee. Flint Golf Club will set up and prepare for the guaranteed number of guests. If for some reason Flint Golf Club is not contacted with the guaranteed number within seven (7) days, Flint Golf Club will consider your last indication of expected guests to be the guarantee.
Booking Procedure
To insure the accurate communication of information necessary in making your function as successful as possible, we prefer to work with one person in the planning of your event. The office should be notified of meal selections, number of guests, room arrangement, equipment requests and all details two weeks prior to your event. The following are guidelines to be used for your function:
- 12 people or less may order off of the appropriate menu.
- 13-25: limited menu of three choices is required.
- Functions of 25 or more must have a set menu from our banquet selection
Food and Beverage
All Federal, State and Local Laws with regard to food and beverage purchases or consumption are strictly adhered to. All food and beverages must be purchased from Flint Golf Club by prearrangement with our Banquet Manager. Club members, guests or other invitees may bring no food or beverage of any kind, with the exception of specialty cakes, into Flint Golf Club. Flint Golf Club will prepare the quantities of food and beverage based on the guaranteed number of guests in ample amounts to insure that all guests at the event enjoy an attractive selection of food. Flint Golf Club takes pride in serving the finest food and beverages available.
Special Menu
If you have any special dietary needs or food allergies we will be happy to tailor a menu to suit your needs.
Club Facilities
Flint Golf Club is available for private functions with seating capacities up to 300 people. These rooms are reserved for members and guests at the discretion of the Flint Golf Club based on estimates given at the time of the initial booking. Flint Golf Club reserves the right to relocate any function to an alternate room within the club, upon doing so Flint Golf Club will notify the contact person as soon as possible..
Personal Property
Flint Golf Club can not assume or accept responsibility for damage to or loss of personal articles or rented equipment left in the club prior to, during or following any function.
Property Damage or Loss
Flint Golf Club does not allow the affixing of anything to the walls, floors, furnishing or ceilings of the rooms with nails, staples, or any other substances. The club member, host or sponsors of an event assumes responsibility for any damages to or the loss of property from the function room or other areas of the club caused by guests, invitees or independent contractors affiliated with the function.
Valet Services
Valet services are mandatory for all parties of 100 people or more. The number of valets used will be at the discretion of Flint Golf Club. Valet service is available for an additional fee of $75.00 per valet.
Ladies Attendant
A ladies attendant is available for any event. There is an additional fee of $60.00 per attendant. While these services are not mandatory. They are highly recommended in order to provide your guests with the level of service they deserve.
